Q. Hi i want to make a budget PC build with a nvidia graphics card, wireless networking, and an Intel core i5 Cpu for gaming.I am a beginner in building Pcs so can you guys help me.My Budget is under 500 dollars. Thank You!
A. Here you go:
you could buy this one:
Acer AM3910-UR30P (PT.SDXP2.001) Desktop PC Intel Core i3 540(3.06GHz) 2GB DDR3 500GB HDD Capacity Intel HD Graphics Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit - $330
link : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as
then upgrade the card into this one :
MSI R5670-MD1GD3 Radeon HD 5670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card - $70
link : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as
then change your PSU to this one since the HD 5670 requires 400w and above:
Rosewill Stallion Series RD500-2SB 500W ATX12V v2.2 Power Supply - $40
link : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as
and here's a monitor to complete it:
Acer V173DJB (ET.BV3RP.D03.B) Black 17" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 20000:1
- $ 60
link : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as
TOTAL : $500
This is just a low budget PC, so don't expect too much from it, Since the resolution of the monitor is only 1280 x 1024 then the most is that you could play most games on low-medium settings.
But if you want a build that can run all games at high settings and some on max settings, it would be around $750-$850. Here is an example :
motherboard : GIGABYTE GA-H61M-DS2 LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - $55

power supply : CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 V2 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - $70
wireless keyboard and mouse - Logitech Wireless Combo MK260 920-002950 Black 8 Function Keys USB RF Wireless Standard Keyboard and Mouse - $29
DVD writer : SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner 22X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 16X DVD+R DL 22X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 24X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model SH-222AL/BSBE LightScribe Support - OEM - $19
monitor : Hanns·G HZ201DPB Black 20" 5ms WideScreen LCD Monitor w/Speakers 250 cd/m2 X-Contrast 15,000:1 (1,000:1) - $90
link : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as
TOTAL : $803
This build can let you play all games at high-max settings with good FPS since the monitor that comes with this build has a max of 1600x900 resolution. This build would do well so to speak.
So If your not in a hurry, My advice is for you to save up until you could afford even a build like this one, goodluck.
glad to help =P

What video card should I get?
Q. I am looking for a video card which will allow me to run 3+ monitors from my windows 7 machine. At least one with HDMI. (I have a 32" LCD TV as my main monitor and 2 VGA monitors for my seondary and tertiary)
Any ideas?
Any ideas?
A. As I explained to you previously, your third monitor MUST have a DisplayPort jack if you want to run triple monitors off one video card-- That's what triple-monitor video cards like ATI's Eyefinity HD5000- and HD6000-series cards require. If your third display does not have a DisplayPort jack, then you will have to spend another $100 or so on an Active DisplayPort dongle.
If you want to use your LCD HDTV as your main monitor and two VGA monitors on the sides, I recommend at least an HD5750 with two DVI ports and one DisplayPort. You will need to buy an Active DisplayPort-to-DVI dongle and a DVI-to-HDMI cable to connect the DisplayPort jack to your HDTV's HDMI, and connect the VGA monitors to the two DVI-I ports on the card using DVI-to-VGA adapters.
Hope this helps.
