Looking for a great led tv for my first apartment!!xD?

Q. Hi thanks for responding, I'm looking for a 46" led-lcd tv for around 800 or below. I know quite a bit about tvs and monitors from gaming but there are so many out there I can't decide. Please give your opinion about
-brand
-quality
-specs/features
-price

This will be primarily used for television, movies and some single player Xbox games. Thanks again!!!

A. Look at smart tv's get the otpion to get apps etc most are 3d ready. start herehttp://www.gadgetrophy.com/2011/11/3d-smart-televisions-start-gaining-momentum.html

Looking for new tv 3DDDD?
Q. Looking for a new tv, 50-60" but dont really know which brands, types, and sizes are the best for their money. Any suggestions would be great, thanks =)

A. Well depends what you will use it for ,if you play a lot of games ,then you want an LCD or LED ,but if you want it for movies and regular TV then a plasma is the way to go ,plasmas have a better picture and deeper colors than the LCD or LED ,but if you are using it for games or as a PC monitor ,it's going to leave burn marks on the screen. Another thing is that LED ,LCD use less power than plasmas, though the new ones are more energy efficient. I would also wait til black friday to make a purchase because that's the time when they're usually cheaper. From what I've seen online and from what people tell me the best plasmas in 3D right now are the Panasonic 2011 and 2012 models ,they have the best picture of all the other plasmas ,even better than the leading Samsung and I think some of them have the bundle that comes with the free glasses. The best LED ,LCD are the ,the Samsung D8000 or the Sony KDLH850 series, because of the picture and features ,there's another also the Sharp Elite pro ,but that's like 4000+ dollars. But I would advice you to go to cnet.com and see the TV reviews for yourself. http://reviews.cnet.com/tvs/#sort=edRating7%20desc

Good luck.

Where can I find a 4K resolution television?

Q. I need the clearest quality for my home theater.

A. Commodity-priced 4K TVs for mainstream consumer use are not quite ready for prime time. However if one is unwilling to wait there is a greater selection of monitors and video projectors from which to choose. (See the resources below for more info.)

Samsung 64inch plasma vs samsung 60inch LED TV?
Q. Cant decide on which TV to get:

http://www.harveynorman.com.au/samsung-64-series-8-full-hd-plasma-tv.html
Or
http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/cannington/Samsung_60%22_152cm_full_HD_LED_LCD_100Hz_3D_TV_UA60ES6500M

Will be the main family TV in a 60 square meter room with quite a bit of direct sunlight into the room, it will also inside an alcove.

We watch a lot of sports (soccer, F1, AFL and basketball mainly), movies and standard televison.

The plasma is a series 8 model which is the 2012 model while the LED is the 2011 model.

Please help
Cheers
Thanks

We currently sit about 3.5/4 meters away depending if the chairs are reclined so hopefully its just far enough.
Also which would have the better picture quality?
With blinds shut or at night would the plasma be a better choice?

A. A Display
First, youll need a 3D-ready displaywhether its a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays have more processing power than standard 2D models for displaying 3D images in rapid succession.

A Source
Your display may be ready for 3D playback, but youll still need a device to read 3D content. This can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3 system.

3D Content
3D contentthe actual entertainment, in other wordswill be played back using the source mentioned above, whether its a 3D broadcast from your cable provider, a 3D Blu-ray Disc, or a 3D video game.

3D Glasses
For now, the vast majority of 3D HDTVs require glasses for 3D viewing. Many use powered active shutter glasses, others polarized passive glasses. Youll need one pair per viewer, and theyll have to be compatible with your display, whether theyre the same brand, or a pair of universal glasses designed to work across brands.

HDMI Cable
To connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, youll need a high-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation feature bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second), for carrying the 3D signal without any loss of quality.

Do I need more fans, and how long will this last and what should i add if i need anything extra for it to work (my budget is $6500 and i have $6156)

A. Wow, most people don't have that kind of budget.
But anyways.
Your case checks out with me, (I have the mid tower version of that case :D)

Personally, I don't care much about the monitor, except for if it has an HDMI or DVI cable, and yours does, so it checks out with me.

For your hard drive, I would skip a 4tb HDD and get maybe 512 gb to 1tb of memory with SSDs, and then maybe a 1.5 or 2tb HDD and raid 0 or 1 them. SSDs run a lot faster than HDDs, and at your price range, you can afford it.

I don't know much about wireless cards, sorry.

As for your gpu, I think it is good, but it is powerful with only one fan. I would recommend the AMD Radeon 7990 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150669), or 2 if you want to Crossfire (which, by the way, is pointless unless you are running multiple monitors)

You power supply checks out, it's 80+ and modular.

Your thermal paste checks out. (although a lot of the time aftermarket heatsinks/water coolers have them pre-applied)

You RAM is fine, but, with your budget, why not go for 32gb? I know you barely ever use over 8gb, but I would get 32gb for the hell of it. I reccomend Corsair Vengeance RAM sticks, btw.

Your motherboard checks out with me.

Your CPU checks out with me

I don't know much about ethernet plugs. Sorry.

With your budget, you could get performance fans, like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181041 or something.
Or get fans with LEDs in them, my case looks awesome at night with those.

As for your CPU cooler, it checks out with me, but I would recommend a Corsair h100 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181017) or h100i (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181032)
(What can I say, I'm a sucker for Corsair products.)

Do you really need 2 blu rays? lol, it's fine with your price range. But you could get a temperature display/fan controller.

As for more fans, I would get all the fans I could, especially at your price range. Look at Newegg's overview (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JdfLmtW92E8) to see how many 120's, 140's and 200's your case supports.

I'm sure this computer would last a while, unless you somehow mess up the cooling and things melt. And I'm sure these parts won't be obsolete any time soon.

As for adding stuff, again, maybe some more RAM (just because your price range is like $6000) and maybe a temperature/fan controller that fits your 5.25" drive bay.

And are you seriously building this or are you just making this for fun?
Oh, and, hope I helped :D

Are these good gaming specs, is it a good price?
Q. First off I'd like to say everyone who 'nerds out' these questions while saying "You need to spend £1200" to get a gaming pc can go away since I know that is not true. Sorry for the rough start.

What will I use my PC for? Editing videos using sony vegas, dreamweaver, fireworks and photoshop. I will be using it for programming as well and most importantly gaming (Counter strike, Warrock, Call of duty, Starcraft, Civilisation, mincecraft, battlefield, homefront, rift and probably a few more).

This is copied and pasted by the way. I've already got a headset, I can get a mouse, keyboard, mouse mat and monitor somewhere else. Is this a good deal for £598? Where is better? Should it run my games smoothly (Not needed to be on top settings).

A. Realistically? Yeah pretty good and it can play all the games to a certain standard it'll probably perform well, if you can build your own pc with the same budget you can kill that one <.< 3x over LOL that being said you'd probably have to pirate windows 7 to cut costs but since that comes with the OS yeah it seems decent enough.

and i am not a massive gamer and i have not got my heart set on mac and i would also have a look at hackintosh and i will create two of the and write your answer on both so you can get the 10 points

A. If you want a computer for gaming, PC all the way hands down.
If you want a computer for web design/work/video editing/music go Apple.

Personally, I'm a PC lover, but my wife has a MacBook Pro 2011 bc she records music.

If you make a lot of money, get both.
You can build a nice gaming PC for $600-$800.
Sell your MacBook Pro 2011 for $800-$900 and use the cash for the PC build.
Then buy the Mac you want/were planning to buy.

Yeah pretty good and it can play all the games to a certain standard it'll probably perform well, if you can build your own pc with the same budget you can kill that one <.< 3x over LOL that being said you'd probably have to pirate windows 7 to cut costs but since that comes with the OS yeah it seems decent enough.

lol so block wall of text. so basically processors no good? and gpu you guys think i should get the 570 580 too pricy for me lol

but i wanted to buy it in the next couple of weeks so i should

1) what processor?
2) switch gpu to GTX 570
3) get bluray
4) psu down to 750?

ill check out ibuypower and if i drastically change it i will post again with just the basics lolol

A. 1. Cyberpower is not known for their good building reviews

2. I'd suggest ibuypower, but the best is building it yourself. You can get a better build for less. My machine is less than that somewhat and it has a Core i7 2600K + 8 GB DDR3 1600mhz RAM + Nvidia 570 GTX GPU

3. Caleb is totally wrong about the i7s. Nothing out there beats them at anything now

I'd wait a few weeks then order these parts as replacements

Core i5 2500K CPU @ 3.4 ghz (easily overclockable to 4.5 ghz on air) @ $225 or less at Micro Center
Nvidia 570 GTX or ATI 6970 Radeon video card @ $325-350
8 GB GSkill Ripjaws X 1600 mhz RAM @ $100
ASUS P67 Motherboard @ $150-200
Corsair 700 watt PSU
