What is an excellent LCD monitor, probably 23" 1920 x 1080 or so, that has a thin bezel...?

I'm looking for a super-reliable monitor that I can get 2 or 3 of that will have a thin bezel for doing a multi-display setup. I'm thinking 23"-24" 1920x1080. I'm looking for good opinions on these, as they will probably be business grade and expensive. I'll consider anything at the right price, but it's very, VERY unlikely I will be getting anything that is glossy black. Glossy black screams poor quality design, high dust and lots of fingerprints.

Dell frequently has some good prices that I'd like to get, and would love to use my 15% off coupon, however, most of the good monitors are on Dell business and the coupon is for Dell home. (home = consumer = lower grade = breaks faster = worse support = higher chance of black gloss finish)

I've spent hours trying to find the perfect match to my needs, but nothing really fits. I'm hoping you all can find something I've missed. :)

But if you can only spend $750, that's going to be a bit of a problem because you can't afford both a GTX 560 and a Core i5 2500 or i7 2600. You will run out of cash before you can afford to buy a case, high wattage power supply, hard drive and operating system.

For budgets under $800 your best option is a quad core Phenom 2 system.

A Phenom 2 x4 955 is around $130
and a GTX 560 Ti is around $220.

For everything else you should be able to afford a 550 watt power supply, case, 4GB of RAM, one hard drive, and operating system.
You're going to have to build it yourself because if someone else builds it for you, they tend to charge more for the parts.

A. When using programs like AutoCad and other image editing programs you are going to want a 20+ inch monitor and you will want a better resolution than (1440 x 900) try (1920 x 1080). When looking at contrast ratio's that is more for how dark is your "dark". Is it really dark or kind of dark. The higher the contrast level the better the image. A. First off I'll answer the question in your first heading. If you're going to edit videos and if you need an accurate monitor for autocad and such, then go for high quality CRT monitor, probably a 20". This is because it does not blur like some LCD screen because of their response times. You could also get an LCD screen with a very fast refresh rate (in the 2 ms range) if it's not a big deal.

I'm guessing the rest of your question refers to what kind of hardware you'll need to run autocad and media software. You'll want a core 2 duo processor and at least 2 Gigs of memory, seeing as autocad takes quite a bit of system resources. Try going for 4 Gigs of memory if you can to be on the safe side. You'll also need a socket 775 compliant motherboard to run the core 2 duo processor. Also, try getting a good video card such as the new nvidia geforce cards (the 8000 series or the 7950 GT). You can also add a tv input card to a pci slot on your motherboard. Get an asus P5B deluxe motherboard for integrated 7.1 audio and good performance.

I honestly don't know what else you need other than a case and a power supply of at least 550W to support your video card. All you'll need after this custom build would be an operating system (xp pro would be good), and your software. I don't do video editing so you'll have to look that up, but autocad can be obtained at autodesk.com and is around $4,000 - unless you can get it through your business.
