Best LED-LCD monitor for gaming/picture quality?

Q. Basically I'm just getting tired of the washed out blacks, which are not horrible on my current monitor it's just very noticeable when playing dark games.

I've been searching and doing research for a couple days now and I've narrowed it down to three possibilities:

1. http://www.amazon.com/LG-E2250T-PN-22-Inch-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B003XPT86Q/ref=sr_1_12?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1296441099&sr=1-12

2. http://www.amazon.com/LG-W2240T-22-Inch-1080p-Monitor/dp/B003DA0SQU/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1296441099&sr=1-2

3. http://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-VX2250WM-LED-21-5-Inch-Widescreen-Integrated/dp/B003HFCDLY/ref=cm_cmu_pg__header

With number 3 looking like the best one right now. I'm just wondering which one will be the best for my purposes.

If for some reason these are all bad/you have a better suggestion here is my limits:

~$200 (any more is pushing it), must be 1080p, anywhere from 19 to 25 inches, speakers (if possible), either DVI or HDMI input (I can manage with either), 5ms response time or better, and has to have good blacks/whites and good color (I've read about a lot of LEDs with bad coloring).

Please help this is turning out to be much more difficult than I intended.

A. If you have the space, get a CRT. Despite being perceived as obsolete, they have the deepest blacks out of any current monitor technologies, the highest contrast (up to 15,000:1 actual) and also the fastest response times (<1ms). Decent 21" ones can be found easily on the free stuff section on Craigslist.

If not, try to get a PVA-type panel, which can get around 3000:1 actual contrast (not dynamic, which is often a lie) . Both of these would work:

EDIT: I'm serious about the CRTs. I'm typing this on my laptop that's hooked up to my 2001-era NEC CRT and the image quality of the CRT compared to my laptop's LCD is incredible. The blacks are just so deep - the one on my laptop by comparison just looks milky. I'm not kidding about their super high contrast ratios.

LED vs LCD vs computer monitor?
Q. Hello..

I want to buy a desktop but i'm having trouble with the screen.. i want a tv. not very large like 22". to use it like a permanent screen. it would be placed on my desk. but some IT guy said it wont do me any good I should just buy a regular computer monitor. ( I use the computer for browsing, typing and watching videos).

what do you think guys? and if you say tv which should I buy, LED or LCD.?

A. if you the type who doesn't give anything about spending money then go for LED.
if your the one who spends a lot of time and you have no life with it and care about money
buy LCD

if you have life and you don't spend time on computer buy a decent monitor.
its your choice you choose.
Good luck!
all the best.
