but yeh from 1 being a comodore 64 to 10 being a perfectly smooth computer that runs every game on ultra 1080p (1920x1080)

Nice screen but i hope you're not planning on running with those built in speakers. They're shitty. Great sound is often overlooked by many gamers. Such a good system deserves great sound. Look at getting a set of 5.1 speakers + sub. These are expensive but look at the Logitech Z-5500's. They'll provide multiple eargasms and will give you the edge when gaming.

Everything else looks great to me. Except, don;t bash the Commodore 64. man, that thing kicks @rse.

A. Ok, for 2 reasons I say pick the GT 220.

#1 - ATi drivers for Linux are spotty at best (and that's only when they're available)
#2 - The GT 220 is a bit faster than a 9500 GT and it has the DX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.1

The monitor is from amazon and the PC is from Mesh.

The monitor from amazon is a lot nicer than the one that you could choose from the Mesh website.

A. Yes, since the GTX570 supports HDMI and so does the screen.

Just hook the screen up to the video card using an HDMI cable. Usually you will have to buy that cable seperately because neither the card or the screen will have it included.

If you didn't want to buy an HDMI cable then you could simply use a DVI cable with a VGA adapter to hook it up.

By the way, the 950W power supply is serious overkill. You could run that system easily with 650W
And 16GB of RAM is overkill too. You will never use more than 6GB of RAM unless you work for NASA or Pixar.

All 2009 Everios make sharing and watching videos easier than ever. New for this year is the One Touch Export function that allows Everio videos to be imported into iTunes and loaded into an iPod or iPhone. All 2009 Everios also offer One Touch DVD burning and the One Touch Upload function that JVC introduced to users in 2008 as a new and convenient way to upload videos to YouTube.

A. >Excellent computer. Just realize now that with Home Premium edition, you are maxed out on the gigabytes of RAM you can have, even if you have more slots on the motherboard. Home Premium 64 bit can only access up to 8 gigs of RAM, that is the only condition I see you might want to consider. But other than that, looks zuper to me.

Q. I am no computer genius, i am just after a PC that will run games like Skyrim on highest graphics.

A lot of the below doesn't mean a lot to me, i would just expect that this is a pretty good PC. The base price is £999.00. The specs can be upgraded though.

Please don't confuse me with your answers, i'd just like to know if this PC will run new games on high settings.

A. Hi there,with your gtx 570, you could play all games on maximum settings on 1080p resolution with good FPS.

If you're plaaning to have two gtx 570 in sli in the future then the 950w PSU is Okay but if you don't have plans on having another gtx 570 in sli then this is too much bec the power requirement of the gtx 570 is just 550w so a 700w would be more than enough.

Q. Alright, so all I will be using my computer for is to browse the internet, (Facebook, YouTube, pretty much small time browsing.) downloading music for iTunes, very minimal video editing, (Windows Movie Maker, thats all I know how to do LOL) etc. Nothing too intense EXCEPT for gaming. Now I do have an Xbox 360 for about 85% of my gaming. Keep in mind that I am a 14 year old boy, so besides school, Hanging out with friends, and girls, this is a big chunk of my life. A. The computer (including the processor) is more than you need for what you want to do, and enough for more serious gaming and more serious video editing, so it should at least last you through high school.

A. >Excellent computer. Just realize now that with Home Premium edition, you are maxed out on the gigabytes of RAM you can have, even if you have more slots on the motherboard. Home Premium 64 bit can only access up to 8 gigs of RAM, that is the only condition I see you might want to consider. But other than that, looks zuper to me.

Parameters (if you know something that would work better please let me know!):
-at or under $50
-fits into a somewhat small case (that can apparently fit a GT250, but still, less cramped the better)
-NOT LOUD
-not going to be competing online so frame rate isn't "vital", but I'd like to be able to max every game above as much as possible for $50 or less (and have it run smoothly). consider me less of a gamer and more of a multimedia user.

A. Ok, for 2 reasons I say pick the GT 220.

#1 - ATi drivers for Linux are spotty at best (and that's only when they're available)
#2 - The GT 220 is a bit faster than a 9500 GT and it has the DX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.1

The monitor is from amazon and the PC is from Mesh.

The monitor from amazon is a lot nicer than the one that you could choose from the Mesh website.

A. Yes, since the GTX570 supports HDMI and so does the screen.

Just hook the screen up to the video card using an HDMI cable. Usually you will have to buy that cable seperately because neither the card or the screen will have it included.

If you didn't want to buy an HDMI cable then you could simply use a DVI cable with a VGA adapter to hook it up.

By the way, the 950W power supply is serious overkill. You could run that system easily with 650W
And 16GB of RAM is overkill too. You will never use more than 6GB of RAM unless you work for NASA or Pixar.

Is this a good gaming computer?

Q. I am no computer genius, i am just after a PC that will run games like Skyrim on highest graphics.

A lot of the below doesn't mean a lot to me, i would just expect that this is a pretty good PC. The base price is £999.00. The specs can be upgraded though.

Please don't confuse me with your answers, i'd just like to know if this PC will run new games on high settings.

A. Hi there,with your gtx 570, you could play all games on maximum settings on 1080p resolution with good FPS.

If you're plaaning to have two gtx 570 in sli in the future then the 950w PSU is Okay but if you don't have plans on having another gtx 570 in sli then this is too much bec the power requirement of the gtx 570 is just 550w so a 700w would be more than enough.

A. That's a pretty beast system. It's similar to the one I use, although I'd recommend beefing up your processor to an AMD 3+ 8 core. It's what I'm using now and whew, is it amazing. Plus, I just prefer AMD.
That Mobo might not be compatible with it, but if so you can go ROG (Republic of Gamers) They have some awesome gaming mobos.
I went for the same memory manufacturer, just a bigger size. Corsair is bloody amazing, nuff' said.
As for the Razer stuff, they make some pretty neat products, but it's basically just eye candy. You can opt for a cheap keyboard and mouse and so long as they're not wireless, you should see almost no change in your gaming. Personally, I like eye candy so I went with razer anyways.
If possible you should hardline that monster, that's just my opinion but being wireless will lag you a bit.
Get an aftermarket heatsink. You definitely want one of those to keep your processor cool. Zahlman makes a really awesome orb heatsink that works great, but it's a bit of a beast in terms of size.
Don't listen to any idiot that tries to sell you on water cooling being superior. Yes, they may cool a little better, but not exceedingly more than a heatsink. Watercooling is more of a hobby than anything.

EDIT: Two things, Stick with windows 7, 8 is still patchy and not very game friendly, you can always upgrade later. Two, I agree you should get a small SSD to put your OS on, however your games do NOT need to be on the same drive in order to run. that's just stupid. Tuck your OS in your SSD and then put everything else on your other Drives. How do I know this? That's the exact same setup I'm running right now, and I've got about a dozen or so MMOs that I run often and never once a problem. Don't bother partitioning the main drives for the OS if you opt for the SSD obviously.

How do I transfer video from the hard drive to the SD card on a JVC Everio GZ-MG630RU camcorder?

Q. I have a 2010 JVC Everio GZ-MG630RU camcorder. i recently bought a laptop with Win-7. i found out that Win-7 does not recognize my camcorder . My question is: how do i go about transferring the videos on my camcorders Hard Drive to the cameras mini SD card ?

Everio Features

All 2009 Everios make sharing and watching videos easier than ever. New for this year is the One Touch Export function that allows Everio videos to be imported into iTunes and loaded into an iPod or iPhone. All 2009 Everios also offer One Touch DVD burning and the One Touch Upload function that JVC introduced to users in 2008 as a new and convenient way to upload videos to YouTube.

To use any of the three functions, simply connect Everio to a PC using the supplied USB cable. Then, the user chooses one of three buttons on the Everio: UPLOAD, EXPORT, or DIRECT DVD. The new Everio MediaBrowser software supplied with all Everio models is a Windows application providing an easy-to-search calendar-type graphical interface for indexing and finding video files. Thumbnail images of recorded videos and stills are superimposed on the calendar so it�s easy to see when any scene was recorded. The Everio MediaBrowser also allows easy playback, simple cut editing, and "Decomotion" to spruce up recorded footage with animated graphics for upload to YouTube. It also supports Export to iTunes, Upload to YouTube, burning to disc or transferring to HDD.

Another new feature found on all Everio camcorders is Digest Playback, which offers an easy and entertaining way to check the content residing on Everio�s HDD or SD/SDHC card. The function automatically selects highlight scenes from among the recorded content using JVC�s proprietary algorithm and plays back what looks like a "coming attractions" trailer for a movie. Sixty minutes of footage is condensed into five minutes of highlight scenes.

Other Everio features have been enhanced for 2009. Laser Touch Operation has been updated to allow control of zooming and recording using either the Laser Touch scroll bar or buttons next to the LCD screen, as well as by the standard zoom lever and REC button. And as before, Laser Touch makes it easy to browse through thumbnail images of recorded scenes and access menu selection. Power-linked operation, long offered by JVC, goes a step further this year. Simply opening the LCD monitor automatically opens the built-in lens cover and powers up the camcorder. Closing the LCD also closes the lens cover and shuts down the power. With Quick Restart, recording can start in about one second after the LCD is re-opened.

In addition to performance and convenience, the 2009 Everio line offers plenty of style and shooting comfort. A new design features elegant curves, a silver-framed LCD and a comfortable angled grip with a new dual use strap.
