Does anybody know a software where I can choose any screen resolution for my monitor?

Q. I have a laptop with a wide screen LCD monitor. It's maximun and native resolution is very high (1680x1050). Besides this, there's no other wide screen resolution who fits my screen among the windows vista options. I would like to know if anybody here knows some software who will allow me to chosse a better resolution for my screen (1280x800 por example).
Thank you.

What's the best way to clean an LCD monitor?
Q. My LG LCD monitor is looking kind of dirty. How do I clean it without damaging it?

A. You can use a clean soft lint free cloth (microfiber is great) dry (for simple dust & fingerprints) or dampened with warm or cold water (preferrably distilled, or at least clean water like bottled water), or it is also acceptable to use a mixture of 50% alcohol with 50% cool water (anything else can damage the surface), and follow up with a clean soft lint free cloth to dry. Do not use paper towels or tissues if possible as they can scratch the surface. Be careful not to apply too much pressure on the surface.

I normally use just clean tap water (though if you have hard water (water w/high mineral content) you should use distilled or deionized water) on a soft cloth and dry with soft cloth - works great.

Below I've included a couple of good websites that cover this.

A microfiber cloth usually works well for dust, fingerprints, etc., but if there are little water type spots on it or stuff that doesn't come off with a microfiber cloth you can take a soft cloth dampened with water and wipe the screen well then dry it off with another soft cloth or the microfiber cloth. If there is some ink or something else that the water doesn't touch, I've heard people use standard wipes, but I'd say go to a store that sells computer supplies and get some special monitor wipes for that purpose. Don't use any glass cleaner or other general household cleaners as they will probably damage the surface.

Best of luck.
