Q. Can you use a regular LCD HP Monitor with a APPLE MAC Laptop? I have a very nice 24" LCD monitor that I use with my regular laptop, but I wasn't sure if you had to buy an Apple monitor for a Mac laptop or if the connections are all the same? Thanks for your help!
A. yes.... there is one slot behind the laptop that fits the monitors plug... dont be afraid it will not go sky booom....
What happens if I use a disinfecting wipe on my LCD monitor?
Q. I used a Lysol disinfecting wipe on both my LCD monitors while they were turned on (yeah...I know it was stupid) and now neither monitor will work.
To add to that, my G5 Power Mac, which was connected to the monitors at the time, seems to have frozen and won't respond to anything. I've tried unplugging it for 20 minutes and although when I plug it back up, the power indicator on the front is on, there is no other response.

A. Lysol is mostly water with a little alcohol and ammonia
You may have zapped your Monitors, Graphics Card,Motherboard and/or Power Supply
You will need to test each thing in a good system
Or take it all to a shop and ask what's fried
