A. You don't, since you have to design a whole video card from scratch.
Sell the LCD screen on eBay. Someone will buy it since it's far often that someone smashed the screen but the rest of the computer still runs. THEN they do a screen transplant, and voila, whole computer.

about 1/6 of the screen works, the top left part. I'm typing on it right now because I have moved all the desktop icons to the visible part (through trial and error!) and my internet connection works fine. Thanks for any suggestions

A. It will be difficult because you will need to use the laptop screen to make the PC screen work
