Q. I want to buy a new LCD monitor, 22" or larger, that looks relatively nice from behind, since it will be sitting out in the open instead of with its back facing a wall. It needs to have some sort of system for covering up the cords and keeping things looking nice back there. Any recommendations?

How do I turn my computer LCD monitor into my TV moniter sans computer?
Q. I'm getting a bigger, better LCD monitor for my compy and I'd like to use the monitor I have to connect to my DVD player and Wii without a computer as the go between. It is not important that I be able to actually watch television as I have neither cable nor network reception.
Any suggestions?

A. Many large screen monitors have the necessary AV (or in some cases HDMI) inputs to do this in a pretty straightforward fashion. Otherwise, you really have no choice but to go through your computer using a graphics card with AV inputs or a TV tuner card.
