Could a 1080p monitor bottleneck a Radeon HD 7970?

Q. I have the ASUS VE247H Black 23.6" Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor. It's 1920 x 1080 2ms. I am planning on getting a Radeon HD 7970 that is 4096 x 2160. Will this monitor bottleneck my graphics card? Should I switch my graphics card and get a lower grade one to save money from it being wasted? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A. The monitor would have nothing to do with it.

Switching from Headset to TV speakers without unplugging it?
Q. I can't do that on my Samsung B2330HD 23" LCD HDTV Monitor Full HD 1080p HDMI, is there a device that can do that? Thank you!

A. It's not a question of a device, it's the design. The headphone jack on the TV has a switch that disconnects the internal speakers when headphones are plugged in.

What might work is if you had an external amplifier (like a home theater system) and used that to drive speakers and the headphones.
