Which one displays better: A PC monitor or a Full HD LCD TV?

Q. Just curious, if you took an LCD/LED PC monitor and a Full HD LCD/LED TV set, both of the same size, both using the same input (eg. HDMI), displayed both at 1920 x 1080 resolution, would the one have an advantage in terms of display over the other, or would they be exactly the same?

A. The monitor will have a clearer picture as it is designed to interface directly with a computer. A TV has to translate the signal from the computer to simulate a TV picture. For most uses the differences wouldn't be noticeable, but fine detail and screen refresh rates would be worse on the "comparable" TV screen.

This assumes both have the same pixel size/density and quality of screen. Many cheaper (as usually included with computer bundles) monitors will have larger/more widely spaced pixels which equal a fuzzy picture when working with fine detail work.

What kind of display should I buy for my computer?
Q. I got it narrowed down between a 22" 1080P LED-LCD TV for $239.00, or a regular 22" LCD PC monitor for $189.00. What would I be better off with? The TV has the PC input.

A. choose plane 22'' LCD PC monitor LED doesn't make difference worth $50. wanna invest more money then try wider screen. \m/
BTW i don't see any point for larger screen if u are not using it for gaming and "extensive" graphic work. Better if u use it
it can be cnkktd to ps3 and xbox tooo....
