Is there any way to crop a monitor screen?

Q. Hello,

Im making a diy projector (the lcd and overhead projector method) and I am having trouble finding a 14" monitor which is the size of the projector bed. So anything bigger will overlap over the projector and therefore not be projected.

I can find a 15" monitor however. So is there any way to change the size of the display so that I dont loose anything when being projected.

Thanks

A. don't know if you're looking for a lcd video wall display?
using lcd video wall we can display one image signal to display on the whole screens, also support input each screen different signals and open windows in each screen.

Projector Fan: Noisy, what to do?
Q. Hello.

I recently purchased a projector that uses the DIY computer monitor kind of method, and it has all been working fine but its got one little problem, it's really really noisy.

It's got 3 fans:

. one at the front which isn't a problem.
. one to circulate air between the LCD which i'm replacing with a silent computer one.
. one at the back that takes hot air from the bulb and blows it out the back, it's called a (centrifugal fan or a squirrel cage fan) and it's really loud, here's some pics to show how its placed in the projector.

These types of fans seem hard to find on the internet, so i think i'll need some kind of alternative or a muffling device. Also, i was thinking when the air comes out the exhaust and hits the plastic grills, thats making noise, so maybe i could cut the grills and that would stop some noise, but i don't really want to damage the case.

any ideas would be great?

Thank you

It is in french but I think you will find an english translated part.Anyway the photos will help you decide what is better for your projector!!!
