How can I assembel a better desktop computer?

Q. I have minimum knowledge about computer.I want to buy a desktop computer. My budget is 40,000.I want a LCD monitor.160 GB HDD.Intel core 2 duo processor.1GB RAM.How can I assemble these parts in my own hand.OR Is there any person in the computer shop that he can assemble my computer after buying these parts. Please help me.

A. Well, with a budget of "40,000" I'd hope that finding pieces and someone to build them in an instant wouldn't be much of a problem!

Typo's aside, if you have no knowledge of building a computer, go with your instinct and as much as I know it wants to have fun and test it out, I'm sure it also says get someone who knows what the'yre doing.

Computers are very fragile things, you chip, bend, or snap 1 little what seems insignificant piece the entire piece of hardware can be ruined, and a waste of valuable money.

From your list of items you want to order, you seem to have either gotten advice from someone with knowledge, or have some background knowledge of computers.

If you have a friend, let them put it together. If they're experienced shouldn't take them much more than a couple of hours to have it up and running with an OS installed.

You should probably even watch them and learn the tricks of the trade. One thing that I may recommend, if you can afford it, your rig seems pretty decent, upgrade to 2 gigs of DDR2 RAM.

What's the name of those monitors on top of the camcorders?
Q. I own a HDV cam (Canon XHA1s) but since the LCD monitor is too small I am considering to buy a monitor that goes on top of this camcorder.
What's the name of those monitors (the appropriate word or terminology) and what brands are there to be known as the best?

Thanks for your help.

A. It is hard to find a search word for what you want. I used "7" LCD monitor" and then found many on B&H Photo's website. Brands such as Glidecam, Ikan, Delvcam, etc.

Ikan is one of the more popular ones and they offer many sizes and resolutions, etc. BTW, you can always use a portable DVD player if you're on a tight budget.
