I have a 17 inch TFT Lcd monitor, my resolution is 1440 by 900, my Graphic card recommends that resolution for optimal resolution....even if i keep any other resolution it looks not good....so since the words and things are very small i feel hard to read those...so like to know how far can i the monitor from my eyes...
A. Best image is displayed at native resolution (no pixel distortion). However, if you find the fonts and icons too small, adjust to larger fonts and icons. Adjust them under Appearance in Display Properties.

A. No. If it were a CRT monitor, you MIGHT be able to ever slightly at the sacrifice of refresh rate (vertical scan rate), but pushing the hardware to its limits can cause failure.
