How to hook up PS3 to LCD Monitor and TV at once?

Q. Ok my TV is a 28' Samsung LCD HD tv. My monitor is a 22' Dell LCD full HD monitor.

I have the component cables in my TV and the HDMI plugged into my PC monitor. What do I have to do in the settings to get the same image on both screens?

A. You can't.

The only way to get the image on both screens (which will be the exact same image), is to split the video cable.

The PS3 can NOT output two video signals at once. You either have to use the HDMI cable and split it, or use the RCA cables and split them.

Do all LCD monitors with a resolution by 1080 have 1080p? And does having 1080p mean it is full HD?
Q. Im planning to buy a full hd lcd monitor for my computer. I use it for watching movies and playing games. But i don't quit know how to determine if it is full HD. And would you guys know the benefits of having a full hd lcd monitor

A. If you want to play back Blu-Ray DVDs at full pixel-for-pixel 1080p High-Definition, you need the following:

1) A Blu Ray drive.

2) An HDCP-compliant video card.

3) An HDCP-compliant monitor that can display 1920x1080. (So in a nutshell, "Full HD" monitor = HDCP compliance and 1920x1080 resolution-capable.)

Keep in mind that HDCP-protected digital high-def video content like Blu Ray discs requires both the vid card and monitor to be HDCP-compliant. If one of those pieces are not, HD Blu Ray movie playback will NOT work.

Hope this helps.
