What's the difference between the Dell ST2410 24-inch and the Dell G2410H 24-inch LCD monitors?

Q. Specifically what one would be better for watching movies? I want to get a second monitor that I will ONLY use for watching blu-rays, so what one of these would have better video quality?

A. THe ST2410 has a regular CCFL backlight and an HDMI port and built-in speakers. The G2410H uses more energy-efficient (and longer-life) LED backlight, and does not have HDMI or built-in speakers.

THe G2410 is HDCP-compliant though, which means it can connect to an HDMI device like a Blu-Ray player using a DVI-to-HDMI cable (but you will have to connect a separate set of speakers to the Blu-Ray player to get sound).

Do I need any additional graphic card for E248WFP 24 inch monitor?
Q. I am planning to buy E248WFP 24 inch LCD monitor and I want to know any requirement regarding any additional graphic card to run it in its native resolution optimally.

My system config:
Intel Core2Duo E6750
2x1 GB RAM
Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family
Display Adaptor

I don't play games and watch movies but use task intensive applications.

Please help me.

Thanks

A. Intel integrated graphics can easily handle the native resolution of your 24" LCD, especially in 2D mode. It is in 3D graphics where its performance is less than satisfactory. Unlike dedicated cards or better integrated graphics, Intel GMA 3100 has no hardware vertex shader and just relies on software for 3D acceleration.

You can consider an HD capable video card as an upgrade when you need it. The ATI HD 2400 is very cheap but supports HDCP and HDMI.
