Q. my lcd monitor has internal speakers but they are not that good. i currently have my xbox 360 connected to it via hdmi cable. my monitor has an audio in input in the back, but when i try to connect my external speakers to it, sound does not come through the external speakers but comes through the lcd monitor speakers. someone help?
A. Well since there is no Audio Out input then you can't use external speakers on the monitor itself.
Could i hook up a verizon HD Receiver to a monitor with an HDMI port?
Q. The monitor is the ASUS VH236H 23" LCD monitor. It says it has HDCP support. Please let me know if this can be done, and how. Thanks.
A. Now I dont know anything about Verizon..I'm in the UK. I am assuming it has an HDMI output?
If it does simple plug together with an HDMI lead! (too simple...what have I missed)? The Asus has full support for high-def with HDMI (and DVI). It has onboard speakers too, which should work just with the HDMI cable..Is there some funny thing about verizon?
