Is there a big difference between 60Hz and 120Hz on pc monitor?

Q. Hello. Im hoping somone can help me out. At the moment im using an lcd tv as my pc monitor. Its 60Hz. Im thinking of going for a proper pc monitor which has 120hz. Will I see a big difference in picture quality between the two Hz?
yes Its for gaming so will I see a big difference ?

A. For browsing the internet, working with Microsoft Word, Excel, doing homework, posting here, you will not see any difference.

Because the Refresh rate (The change to what your looking at) is low.

However if your watching a High Def movie (Blu Ray) or gaming, which quickly changes what you see on the screen - 120hz is better then 60hz.

The 120hz screen refreshes quicker so can keep up better then a lower - 60hz screen.

What is the normal refresh rate for LCD monitor and browser scrolling itself?
Q. I have 2 refresh rates 60 and 75. I saw recommended is 75. Main problem of screen flickers is especially on mozilla and internet explorer. Even when I changed the mouse, the browsers scrolled up and down quickly and flicker. Why does this happen, how to solve?

Do provide contact so i can ask again please!

A. LCD monitors use 60hz. 75 makes moving graphics on the screen a little more smooth (mainly only noticeable in games) but most LCD displays don't support over 60.

There are some higher-end displays that support 120hz, but they're pretty damn pricey!
