A. CRT monitors are the best for gaming - higher refresh rates, cheaper, cleaner frames, etc. The problem is - they are HUGE! They weigh over 40 lbs. They are much cheaper than flat screen LCD though.
If you're planning to get a LCD, you might want to get one with a 20ms or less refresh rate.
