Is it possible to replace my lcd monitor on my pc with a brand new larger led-lcd tv?

Q. Will that work as a monitor? What tv brand should I get?

A. Yes. Virtually every LCD monitor and TV has a vga input connection. If you want better video, you may need to add a video card with DVI-out for a digital connection. Look for 120hz, 1080p, and LED. LG, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, and Panasonic are all very good. Element, Viore, and Vizio are budget-level displays, but are usually a couple hundred dollars less than the others with the same exact specifications, just uglier on the bezel.

are there any flexible led or lcd technologies yet?
Q. I heard about a curved LCD monitor on Maximum PC but it just turned out to be a huge, bulky, unit that cost alot and had less than satisfactory resolution. anyone know of a flexible or curved LED/LCD technology that exists, is affordable, and high resolution enough to be used for a curved monitor?
thinking something like 1200-1440 vertical pixels by 2560 to 3200 pixels horizontal.

a google search only found low-density LED and LCD panels that are intended for use with large advertisements or outdoor theaters.
I'm thinking quite a bit smaller, a 30-45" sized desktop monitor.

anyone know of such technology available now or that is being developed?

A. There are/have been bend-able lcd televisions. so im guessing there are also monitors since its almost the same concept

led's on the other hand would require some research

you said "a google search" .... try multiple google searches plus other search engines while refining your search criteria
