Q. It is a 10.5 inch hitachi lcd panel (for a laptop) with two cords for power and 31 input slots. Is there some way to use these input slots for video, do I need a signal decoder in between? thanks for your help...
A. if you have the cable box for the monitor to plug into, then you just need a converter from your monitor plug to your tv cable plug

What are the components of an LCD monitor and what do they do?
Q. I need to mention all of the components of an LCD monitor and what they do for a project but I cannot find a list of them and what they do on the internet. I was hoping one of you guys knew and you could tell me.
A. Stand, case, power supply (could be external), electronics board, connectors, push buttons, LCD panel, cover glass, diffuser material, CCFL lamp or LED array, inverter for lamp.
