Thinking of getting the Acer Black 22" LCD Monitor for my Macbook Pro, does it fit?

Q. Actually, here's a 1080p monitor which is 10 bucks cheaper:

Better choice?
This is one of the new Macbook Pro's with the Mini DisplayPort (which I will get an adapter for - to DVI-D) I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with making dual-screen, as an extended desktop mode and if this monitor should work with the Macbook Pro 15"?

Here is the link to the monitor:

Or perhaps you have a better suggestion for a monitor at this price?
Thanks a bunch

A. most external monitors will work
does your resolution hit 1920 by 1080 /1200 ? if so take a look at these two 24" modals

How can I optimize my monitor resolution with my Macbook Pro?
Q. I have a 23" ASUS LCD monitor that I was using via HDMI with my PC. Now I have a Macbook, and the monitor is hooked up via the HDMI/DVI adapter, but the resolution, even set at 720 on isn't nearly as good as before. Am I stuck with this or is there a way to get the external display looking as good as it did with PC?

A. 23" monitors are usually 1920X1080 not 720p (1280X720)
try setting it to 1920X1080.
