What does HDMI from graphic card to LCD monitor HDMI do?

Q. I just bought gold connected HDMI/HDMI cable so i could watch on HDTV and have 2 monitors, but now im wondering what does HDMI from graphic card output to HDMI LCD monitor output do?
Im guessing it makes it more HD or something i don't know, need some info on this please :s

A. Most LCDs have an HDMI input because that's preferable way to connect them. The HDMI output on your graphics card naturally requires an HDMI input from a TV or LCD monitor. HDMI is just a high definition / digital signal; providing the best picture quality. If you want the best picture quality for your LCD monitor, then obviously connect the HDMI cable into it. That's what it's there for. All HDMI connections are the same, doesn't matter if it's on a TV or LCD monitor. They do exactly the same thing: provide you with a high definition digital signal.

What is the best monitor for Graphic designers CRT , LED or LCD?
Q. Log of My friends and officers ask this questions, Please explain who is expertise about the technologies (Someone says that crt best for Graphic design works)

A. I believe that the monitor's that have the most accurate colour reproduction are IPS panel LCD monitors. One of the highest rated IPS monitors is the Dell Ultrasharp U2410. They are brilliant monitors and cost much less than professional grade monitors.
