How can I use TV and Monitor at the same time?

Q. Hi gus, I have amd radeon hd 6950 and i am wondering how i can use tv and lcd monitor at the same time? Is it possible?
when i apply changes it says unable to save display settings
I am using DVI to monitor and HDMI to tv.

A. Sure if you have the right video connections and cables. For more help list what video connections the TV, monitor, and graphic card have. Also what video cables you have lying around. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Additional Comment: Sorry, one last question. What resolutions will the monitor and TV run?

Does the size of your computer monitor affect your gaming performance?
Q. I have a 27 inch acer LCD computer monitor that I game on and I get choppy graphic performance while using it.
If I were to switch to a smaller monitor at a lower resolution that wasn't as high as 1920x1080, would I notice a difference in graphic performance?

A. Yes and no to your questions, its all about settings and resolution, not so much screen size. If you run lower graphics settings and a lower resolution, then yes, you will get better performance. But instead of doing that, why not just upgrade your video card? Then you can continue to play on the 27in. monitor and you may be able to bump up the settings and still get a decent frame rate.
