Q. i can look at iphone for hours without my eyes ever hurting, but when i look at my monitor for 10 minutes, i feel a stinging pain in the middle of my right eye, is it because of the settings on my lcd monitor? its only set at 60 brightness and 50 contrast. can someone help?

How much of a difference does monitor response time make when gaming?
Q. I have a Acer AL2016W LCD monitor with 8 ms response time. I am getting a new gaming computer for Christmas and I am wondering how much the monitor's response time affects the game-play performance?

a faster refresh rate will be nicer on your eyes but it isn't going to make much of a diff.
